Q: Tell me a little about yourself.
My name is Kevin. I grew up in Texas and moved to Wisconsin when I was 14. I am married and have a 4 year old daughter and a one year old son. I moved to Green Bay about 2 years ago from Kewanee, where I worked as a deputy for almost 16 years. I would say I’m really into a lot of nerdy things. I would describe myself as father, husband and nerd. In that order :-).
Q: What made you interested in politics?
I would say ever since my high school civics class I’ve had an interest in politics. When I realized that I had a voice and a right to participate in the process, I couldn’t wait to vote.
Q: Why did you decide to join PTP?
I talk a lot about politics with my friends. I saw this as an opportunity to challenge myself with potentially opposing viewpoints. I wanted to expand my worldview by seeing politics through other people’s experiences. And of course get more votes for Democratic candidates.
Q: Who is your favorite character from a movie or book?
I love Star Wars, and in particular I like the mysterious Jango and Boba Fett. I’m actually working on building my own version of Jango Fett’s armor, and I’m hoping to join an elite costuming club called the Mandalorian Mercs.
Q: What superpower would you most want to have?
There are so many to choose from, but I would have to choose to be invulnerable to mortal wounds through the rapid healing abilities of Deadpool.
