Progressive Turnout Project Congratulates Doug Jones on Victory in Alabama
Progressive Turnout Project Executive Director Alex Morgan released the following statement after Doug Jones’ victory in Alabama’s Senate election:
“Tonight in Alabama, Democrats won one of the most consequential victories of 2017 by electing Doug Jones to the United States Senate.”
“Alabama voters were presented with a clear choice, and they chose the side of history by electing the son of a steelworker who embodies progressive values.”
“Doug Jones won by presenting voters with an authentic story and platform and by running a strong voter turnout program in key cities across the state.”

Progressive Turnout Project is a grassroots-funded Political Action Committee with a single mission: get Democrats to the polls.
