Progressive Turnout Project Congratulates Jane Raybould and Kara Eastman on Nebraska Primary Victories
Progressive Turnout Project Executive Director Alex Morgan released the following statement regarding the Nebraska Democratic primary:

“Congratulations to Jane Raybould and Kara Eastman on their primary election victories in Nebraska. Jane and Kara won by energizing our Democratic base. The Progressive Turnout Project team looks forward to expanding upon the energy from the primary by engaging in face-to-face conversations with inconsistent Democratic voters across the second district.”
“In 2016, Republican Don Bacon narrowly won Nebraska’s second congressional district by 1 percentage point. From now until election day, we’ll be talking with voters to ensure he doesn’t get a second term.”
“In order to take back the House and the Senate, it’s critical that Democrats invest in states like Nebraska. Kara won last night because she rolled up her sleeves and took her progressive message directly to the voters of the second district. We look forward to bringing that same energy to Omaha with our turnout program.”
Earlier this week, Progressive Turnout Project announced an $8 million program investment that includes Nebraska’s second congressional district. The organization has an office and staff based in Omaha.
