Progressive Turnout Project Congratulates Senator Maria Cantwell and Kim Schrier on Washington Primary Victories
Progressive Turnout Project Executive Director Alex Morgan released the following statement regarding the Washington Democratic Primary Election:

“Congratulations to Senator Cantwell and Kim Schrier on their victories in Washington’s 8th Congressional District. For the past two months, Progressive Turnout Project has been talking with voters across the district and looks forward to doing everything we can to defeat Dino Rossi on November 6.”
“We’re proud to stand with Senator Cantwell as we resist the Trump agenda. From fighting for our public lands to opposing Trump’s radical Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, we need leaders like Maria Cantwell in Washington.”
“Kim Schrier has spent her career serving families across the 8th District. She knows their stories and their struggles and will lift up their voices when we send her to Congress.”
“On the flip side, Dino Rossi has made a career out of running for public office. Voters across the state have rejected him time and time again but he just won’t go away. We’re ready to send him packing once and for all.”
“Now that we have our nominees, Progressive Turnout Project is ready to roll up our sleeves, pound the pavement, and do everything we can to elect Maria Cantwell and Kim Schrier in November.”
Progressive Turnout Project is on pace to spend at least $350,000 in Washington’s 8th District as part of a previously announced 18 district field program. The organization has an office and staff based in Renton.
