Progressive Turnout Project Signs Onto Joint COVID-19 Voting Adjustment Letter
“Today, Progressive Turnout Project signed onto a joint letter to members of Congress, governors and elected officials across the country, urging them to immediately take critical steps to ensure the public’s safety without compromising free and fair elections. It’s atrocious to force voters to choose between their health and the right to vote, especially when 33 states already have vote-by-mail infrastructure in place. Voter turnout is suffering during this pivotal election year, and it will continue to do so unless we extend voting by mail and early voting now — not wait until the pandemic worsens.
