Progressive Turnout Project to Support Candidates in November 7 Elections
Group to Provide Staff and Mobilize Supporters Ahead of Tuesday Elections in Michigan, New Hampshire, and New Jersey

CHICAGO – Progressive Turnout Project will support multiple candidates in Tuesday’s statewide and special elections across the country. The organization plans to send staff to Michigan, New Hampshire, and New Jersey to mobilize its supporters, knock on doors and make phone calls to voters in the final days of the campaign.
The group will specifically direct voters to statewide and local progressive candidates Sara Cambensy for Michigan State House District 109, Erika Connors for New Hampshire State House District Hillsborough 15, Brian Sullivan for New Hampshire State House District Sullivan 1, and Phil Murphy for New Jersey Governor.
“We are proud to support strong, progressive candidates up and down the ballot,” said Progressive Turnout Project’s Communications Director Priyal Amin. “There is a lot at stake on Tuesday but the momentum is on our side as Democrats have flipped eight seats from red to blue in special elections this year alone”
Already in 2017, the group has invested more than $600,000 in Virginia’s House of Delegate elections and another $300,000 on earlier special elections across the country.
“Our team is doing everything we can to get out the vote and ensure progressive victories across the country,” said Amin.
