Progressive Turnout Project Congratulates Joyce Beatty on Victory in Ohio
Progressive Turnout Project Executive Director Alex Morgan released the following statement after Joyce Beatty’s victory in Ohio’s 3rd congressional district:
“Congratulations to Congresswoman Joyce Beatty on her victory tonight. Joyce is a progressive champion and we greatly value her work on voting rights. We look forward to helping her advance a progressive agenda that includes stronger voter protections in the next Congress.”
During the final weeks of the campaign, PTP funded 2 Voter Turnout Fellows on the campaign as an in-kind contribution and as part of a broader national effort that sent 106 fellows to 51 competitive races.
“We wanted to do everything we could to help get out the vote and we’re proud of our Voter Turnout Fellows for all their incredible work during the home stretch of the campaign.”
