Alumni Network

The Progressive Turnout Project Alumni Network is dedicated to fostering connections with our network of progressive organizers. We want to support our alumni on their professional journeys, whether that involves a future of rallying Democrats to vote or another pathway.

Our Alumni Network

Our community of more than 5,000 alumni live in 48 states across the United States. Many of our alumni return to PTP for multiple election cycles and stay involved in their communities as volunteers with grassroots organizations. They work in a variety of fields, including many teachers, organizers, delivery drivers, students, parents, lawyers, and elected officials.

We envision the committed changemakers of our Alumni Network as a force for defending democracy in America.

5,800 and growing: a map showing where our alumni are based, including: 1,345 in Georgia, 753 in Pennsylvania, 375 in Ohio, 358 in Wisconsin, 296 in North Carolina, 288 in Arizona, and 136 in Nevada.

"PTP propelled me into politics, and I'm so thankful that they took a chance on me. This was my first political job and I learned so much that I am now helping manage local races and teaching others the basics of campaign management."
“Our team is still in contact with one another, and it has been wonderful to see how many of them have continued to work in the political field and have moved up into mid-level positions themselves. I've seen how they've been able to use the skills we taught them at PTP, and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and succeed professionally.”
“While other organizations only focus on the current election cycle, PTP invested heavily in its staff and their training so we could move forward in our political careers with more opportunities available to us.”
“There is a genuine push to practice the progressive philosophies that are often just talking points at other organizations.”
