Progressive Turnout Project Congratulates Cindy Axne on Iowa Primary Victory
Progressive Turnout Project Executive Director Alex Morgan released the following statement regarding the Iowa Democratic Primary Election:
“Congratulations to Cindy Axne on tonight’s victory in Iowa’s third congressional district. Progressive Turnout Project already has staff on the ground in Windsor Heights and looks forward to doing everything we can to hold Iowa Republicans accountable on November 6.”
“For a quarter century, David Young has made himself at home in Washington and turned his back on the third district. Fortunately, working Iowans have a real opportunity to kick him to the curb this fall.”
“Now that we have our nominee, Progressive Turnout Project is ready to roll up our sleeves, pound the pavement, and do everything we can to elect Cindy Axne in November.”
Progressive Turnout Project announced an $8 million program investment that includes Iowa’s third congressional district. The organization has an office and staff based in Windsor Heights.
