Progressive Turnout Project has endorsed five Illinois House candidates, including Marie Newman (IL-03), Rep. Chuy Garcia (IL-04), Rep. Sean Casten (IL-06), Betsy Dirksen Londrigan (IL-13), and Rep. Lauren Underwood (IL-14). The endorsement announcement is part of a broad slate of endorsements–101 federal races–and includes support of Joe Biden for president. PTP says it’s spending more than $52 million in “grassroots-funded on-the-ground efforts” for 2020.
