Progressive Turnout Project Congratulates Lizzie Pannill Fletcher on Texas Primary Runoff Victory
Progressive Turnout Project Executive Director Alex Morgan released the following statement regarding the Texas Democratic primary runoff:
“Congratulations to Lizzie Pannill Fletcher on tonight’s victory in Texas’ seventh congressional district. Progressive Turnout Project already has staff on the ground in Houston and looks forward to doing everything we can to hold Texas Republicans accountable on November 6.”
“Lizzie has been fighting for hard-working Texans her entire career while John Culberson is a career politician who votes with Donald Trump 99 percent of the time.”
“Now that we have our nominees, Progressive Turnout Project is ready to roll up our sleeves, pound the pavement, and do everything we can to elect Beto O’Rourke and Lizzie Pannill Fletcher in November.”
Last week, Progressive Turnout Project announced an $8 million program investment that includes Texas’ seventh congressional district. The organization has an office and staff based in Houston.
