Progressive Turnout Project Congratulates Sen. Gary Peters

CHICAGO — Progressive Turnout Project (PTP) congratulates Sen. Gary Peters on his hard-fought victory in Michigan. PTP ran the nation’s largest Democratic voter turnout program this year. PTP invested $4.6 million to boost Democratic voter turnout in Michigan, and got 30,075 commitments to vote from Michigan voters.

PTP’s conversations also turned out Michigan voters for Rep. Andy Levin, Rep. Elissa Slotkin, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, and Rep. Haley Stevens.

“Michigan re-elected Gary Peters to get this pandemic under control and our economy back on track,” said Executive Director Alex Morgan. “PTP is proud of the tens of thousands of one-on-one conversations we had with Michigan voters. We empowered voters with information, and helped them make their voices heard in this all-important election.”
