Progressive Turnout Project Endorses Sharice Davids in KS-03

OVERLAND PARK—Progressive Turnout Project today endorsed Sharice Davids in Kansas. The organization is proud to support the candidate who has a progressive vision that will serve all Kansans.
“Sharice Davids knows that being progressive is about finding solutions that are going to benefit middle- and working-class families here in Kansas and across the country,” said Executive Director Alex Morgan.
Davids campaign for Congress has focused on expanding access to affordable healthcare, strengthening public schools, making college more affordable, and investing in infrastructure to create jobs. In her questionnaire for Progressive Turnout Project, Davids emphasized her support for defending every American’s right to vote.
“Voting is the very backbone of our democracy,” wrote Davids. “I will do everything within my power to combat voter restrictions and fight for fair and equal access to the ballot box.”
Today’s endorsement is part of a larger effort by Progressive Turnout Project to expand its impact in the 2018 election. The organization requests campaigns to complete and endorsement questionnaire that asks about critical voting rights issues such as the restoration of the Voting Rights Act, automatic voter registration, early voting, no-excuse absentee voting, and voter ID laws.
