Progressive Turnout Project Raises $965,000 in August

CHICAGO— Progressive Turnout Project raised $965,000 in the month of August, putting the national Democratic organization at $14.4 million raised for the 2018 cycle. The organization aims to take back the House and Senate with the support of more than 230,000 small-dollar donors with an average contribution of $13.65.
“Month after month we’ve seen an incredible outpouring of support from our grassroots donors that will allow us to expand our battleground map from 18 competitive House races to more than 30 by Election Day,” said Executive Director Alex Morgan.
Progressive Turnout Project has more than 200 staff on the ground across 18 congressional districts. In the coming weeks, the organization plans to announce an additional set of digital investments in battleground states and districts ahead of the November election.
“Our supporters know what’s at stake in this election and we’re going to put every dollar we’ve raised toward our data-driven field, digital, and mail programs between now and Election Day,” said Morgan.
